This hotel is very historic but does not work for business travelers and is no equivalent to the 4.5 star hotels it is rated against. In addition I could have booked this hotel without bidding for within $10 of my price.
I won't be able to use Priceline in the future for these kinds of trips because your rating system is seriously flawed and while it purports to be selling a high value hotel it is actually simply a mediocre hotel for a medium price - I can find that myself!

Fantastic location. Beautiful lobby.
For the price, this is not an economical hotel. The room was tiny, I didn't realize that it was just a double bed. They shouldn't advertise that as a room for 2 people, should be 1 person. Staff was not friendly and downright rude.
Hotel room was terrible. The service was terrible. staff was very rude, would never stay again or recommend to others.

Only the location is close to boston common park and park street station.
A lot. When I wanna have two double beds for the room, the charged me extra xxx per night. Also, the hotel is so dirty even it's a old hotel. The carpet in the hotel looks too dirty to step on it. The front desk is slow when I was checking in.
Don't stay in this hotel. There are still lots of hotel in the downtown areas and more clean than this hotel. I believe some other hotel in downtown won't charge you the extra fee when you wanna have two DOUBLE BEDS. RIDICULOUS!!!

Loud and frequent truck noise in the middle of the night. Bathroom door would not close. Heater buzzed and rattled like one you'd find at a roadside Arizona motel.

The hotel staff were amazingly helpful & friendly.The location is perfect.The room was luxourius.Big thick mattress bed.large hd tv.good wireless wifi.washroom aweseome.

The good location
The room did not have queen or double bed but 3/4 bed, like years ago and the room was very small. Internet access was not included in the room rates, for this type of hotel it was unexpected.
This hotel is well located, you can leave your car in the parking and walk or take the metro to go around. The rooms are small and the bed was smaller than the size of a double bed. Also, even with their stars the internet access was not included in the room rates.
