Omni Los Angeles Hotel At California Plaza

Great rooms and great location for downtown attractions.

Got an express deal so we paid for good value. But I won't pay the original price for this hotel. It might be a four star, but it's relatively old, comparing to where we stayed for the weekdays - Luxe. Towels in the bathroom, half of them are older, half of them are newer, that's very obvious. Wifi connection is confusing, no microwave for use in the entire hotel because of security reasons which is weird because a lot of the B&B have them in room for use or at least at the breakfast place. Staff at valet parking spoke confusingly. Provided services are not let known well, we did not know if there's complimentary breakfast, or complimentary in-room service, or complimentary newspaper of our choice until I did the hotel's survey. ...read more

Good downtown location at a lovely hotel. I would definitely return if I had the occasion.

Terrific hotel and location for Disney Hall concerts. Friendly and efficient staff, lovely room. Excellent all-around!

We loved our room; all the hotel staff from the bellmen, check in personnel to the maids. A truly top notch hotel. We also had the private dining room at the Noe Restaurant in the hotel. The manager Tyler Dow was fantastic. My son was married that week end at a close by venue and we did a lot of celebrating at the hotel. My guest stated that the food was some of the best they had ever had. We will return and because of the experience I will look for the other Omni hotels when we are traveling. The hotel was nice looking and the staff was friendly. The hotel looks much nicer on the inside than it does on the outside. It had great decor but we did find bugs in the bathroom. Parking is very expensive and local restaurants are only open during the day Monday through Friday (good luck finding a good restaurant to eat at over the weekend unless you have a car and are willing to drive far and pay for more parking). If you are staying in Los Angeles, especially over the weekend, I would recommend finding a better location for the price. ...read more
