Hotel Guest Reviews of the Omni Royal Crescent Hotel
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 3, 2013

First of all what ever rate you get this hotel for you need to plan on spending double, why you ask? #1 we get to the hotel and of course they ask you for a credit card for incidentals, which I totally expected. Then I am informed that there is valet parking and that it is $29.95 which will be deducted from the incidentals money, and that is every time you have them get your car. I get it they don't want you driving. #2 Then because they had a King room for me and I wanted 2 beds they charged $50 to upgrade to a room with 2 double beds, since when is that an upgrade? #3 The staff was okay but seemed like they could careless rather you enjoyed the stay or not. When you go to get your car plan on waiting at least 20 minutes and then other quests will try to get their car first and are very pushy. You know I was treating my family to what we thought would be a nice night in New Orleans at a 4 star establishment and we all felt like we had stayed in 2 star hotels that were better and nicer with better customer service. Don't do it you'll be sorry!!! ...

Definitely specify the street address when going to the hotel. Our cab driver dropped us off at the wrong Omni and we had to pay for another cab across town.

The location was fine for us as we walked where we were going. It was just a few blocks to canal street and the river. It was a very pleasant stay.
