Hotel Guest Reviews of the Omni San Diego

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Nice location, very friendly and helpful staff
Not getting the desired bed selection, the beds being a little uncomfortable, the fact that there was no self parking and valet was very expensive.

Very nice, and costly

Still very new.
Parking is too expensive, $17.00/night. They tried to charge me $9.95 per Internet use when I was told that it is free if signed in. No fan in the bathroom.

Over all it is a very nice hotel. I would stay again if I can get it for the same price and parking is not so expensive.

Location was fantastic for visiting the Gaslamp and Petco Ballpark. Public parking very close with reasonable rates. Staff was very friendly. High quality room: nice sheets, HD TV with HD channels, coffee maker, iron, wireless internet.
The downstairs lounge was not really a place that invited hanging out and meeting people.

Great hotel. Everything I expected. Wireless internet was free if you signed up for their awards program. I think it should always be free for business hotels, however. I only called it appealing to family due to pool and proximity of ball park. Gaslamp quarter is not what I'd consider a family destination. Businessmen will like it for easy access to Convention Center. Trolley stop next door. ...read more

This is a very modern, contemporary hotel. You definitely know that you are in a 4Star hotel. Loved that my husband and I were able to walk to enjoy fine dining only minutes away. And as all women would want shopping also accessible!

Great staff, clean and modern rooms, fast elevators for those staying on higher floors (I done like when it takes forever to get to my room!), and the pool area is way nicer than it looks on the website.
Bathrooms without fans drive me crazy. The door to the bathroom is a sliding one...so not much privacy.

The location was perfect. Everything major in San Diego was within walking distance. The area is extremely clean and the hotel itself is beautiful!!! We will definitely be going back to this hotel.
Everything was fantastic, but there is no where to park your car yourself. It is to be expected because you are right in the middle of the touristy area of San Diego.

From beginning to end, this hotel was excellent. The staff was quick, efficient, and extremely considerate. We received a free upgrade simply because there was room available and even gave us a bay view room that over seen the Coronado Bridge. The room itself was extremely clean. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. The bathroom was amazing. I have been in hundreds if not thousands of hotels, but The Omni was by far the best. The Omni is directly connected to Staple Stadium via a bridge which would be great for me if I was a San Diego Padre fan, but I'm not. LOL. But I will definitely reserve a room there if the Angels come to play. I could go on and on about this hotel, but all I have to say is we had the perfect room at a great, and I mean great price. I'm not sure If I'm allowed to post the price but we paid
xxx for a Saturday night stay. Oh yeah, you are literally surrounded by hundreds of restaurants and activities at this hotel. I loved, loved, LOVED IT!!!!

Location, location....
They actually told me no when I requested a late check out. First time in my life. I was speechless. I don't care how the nice the hotel is or how great the location, I'll be staying at the Hilton or Manchester next time. Customer service?

I was extremely impressed with this hotel and the price was amazing. The location is incredible, we had an an excellent time spending Friday night having fun in the gaslamp district. Then they had to go and ruin it. We decided to call the desk for a late check out, if you've ever spent Friday night in the gaslamp you understand why. I was actually shocked when they said no, I was told there was a shower on sixth floor I could use if I really needed to lol! This left a really bad taste in my mouth, I've never heard of this happening before. The Omni is great but there are a LOT of amazing hotels in San Diego. I'll definitely be trying more of them before coming back. Maybe Priceline guests are second class citizens at the Omni? Lol I def felt like it! ...read more
