Hotel Guest Reviews of the Orlando Grand Hotel
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.April 10, 2013

This hotel was disgusting. I knew not to expect something too fancy, but it was dirty. Paint was coming off of the walls, the ceilings were cracked. The room smelled musty. There were holes in the carpets. All of the ice machines in the building were broken. The elevator was broken. The door to go out to the balcony wouldn't close properly. The pillows were flat and the bed slanted in toward the middle so you rolled in while you slept. The TV in the kids' room had no remote and only got a few channels. The kid's bunk beds only had the dirty comforter as a blanket. Also it was in a really shady part of town...right up the street from the jail. I wish I would've known that. And finally...no coffee..in the room or in the lobby :-( ...

What they do not tell you is that it is 1 block from a prison. The buffet was not included and the balcony was ready to fall off the hinges.

Staff was rude stated "oh well" when told about problems...no Internet-problems with connection throughout stay.....no utensils at breakfast meal...25 people waiting for utensils to eat breakfast...resort fee added not listed on price...worst hotel on trip.

The staff was sparse and not eager to help. It's an older hotel and not well maintained outside of the lobby. The hallways smell wet and there were water marks running down our room walls. Housekeeping was loud in the hallway and knocked on the door at 8:00 am to clean our room and woke us up. Not somewhere I would stay again.
