Hotel Guest Reviews of the Palace Inn Kemah
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.July 6, 2012

OK for one night to sleep in, room was fine, breakfast was minimal and location was good for the pier.

Bed was very hard, someones alarm was going off all night. Had an employee walk into our hotel room after midnight & we had a "do not disturb" sign hanging on the door from the outside. Not sure how that even happened & when conform the front desk they weren't sure how that happened either. For breakfast there was only stael cereal & the milk was a gallon that was more than half way used. Bread for toast that was clearly from Walmart. The only thing that was decent was the waffle maker. Will never go there again. ...

The hotel is nice and can use some improvements but my overall stay was excellent . I loved the fact that it was just down the street to the kemah boardwalk . The people that work there were very friendly and they give you a complimentary breakfast . Its very nice.

The rooms reek of smoke, beds are uncomfortable, and the TV didn't work. Add drunken idiots fighting and stumbling up and down the stairs next to our room and you have the recipe for a miserable evening.

This place isn't a luxury resort by any means but it has been recently remodeled, was clean, the rooms are spacious, and the staff was friendly. If you are one of those picky people, don't stay here but if you are looking for a comfortable, quiet place to lay your head with a great price this is your place!
