Hotel Guest Reviews of the Palihotel Melrose

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Location was good and staff friendly and-accommodating. Is actually a unique place, supposedly haunted. Overall for a change from luxury hotels is quite interesting.
No way of controlling room temperature. Control is for block of rooms and locked, room lacks dresser, closet or shelves. Have to live out of suitcase.

For a totally different hotel experience and like the unexpected this may be the place. Simple amenities such as room phone or drawers, coffee in room, are lacking. But then Starbucks is a nice six block walk. After a day or two this place grew on us.

Super comfy bed and pillows

The common spaces and our room had a lot of personality. The bed and pillows were very comfy. We were a little worried about noise because our room faced the street on the first floor and there was music playing in the restaurant, but the noise all died down at a reasonable time. The hotel was about 1 hr walk from the Walk of Fame.

Interesting hotel with dark walls, dim lighting, and inspired design choices. Great staff. Nice location.

David at the front desk went above and beyond by printing the front lobby song list for me after I asked about the artists playing. Emmy was very kind to my mother when she asked for help.
Free parking for hotel guests would be great. Minor detail but so important. Also a small elevator that connects the garage to the hotel would be nice. Walking down the alley to get to your car can be a nuisance.

A trendy hotel with the atmosphere of a bed and breakfast and easy, cool comfort that appeals to all demographics.

The staff was very friendly.
The beds were comfy.
No phones were in the room, this hotel is for 1-2 per room only, the halls were a little creepy.

The staff was very nice, the hotel was a short trip in the cab to Hollywood, we had access to buses to get to the beaches but I wouldn't stay here again especially with children. This hotel is not family friendly.

The location is convenient and the room is clean.
It looks like a haunted house, the weired smell, the dim lights, the dark interior and you can hear anything your next door neighbor does.

The hotel is conveniently located and the room is clean. But the decoration of the interior looks like a haunted house. The weird smell, the dim lights, the loud noise from the air conditioner, the dark wall paint and floor, you can hear anything your next door neighbor does. The hotel is not suit our taste.
