Hotel Guest Reviews of the Palm Mountain Resort

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The location is great! I requested a king bed after we arrived and they accommodated our request. The hotel practically borders the mountain and the view is lovely.
The property is a little old and the beds a little used, but it's worth it just to be right by all the action.

Super location downtown. Very clean and friendly staff
None

I love old Palm Springs, not La Quinta, not Palm Desert. One block off downtown with all resteraunts, shops and lots of activities. I will stay here again.

Great location.
Extra charge for swim towels and other amenities. Parking in unsecured area.

Hotel a bit dated and smelled moldy. It is in the center of town and everything is within walking distance.

Location right on the strip of downtown palm springs
Well I was quoted a price of
XXX for 2 nights.. When I checked in I was charged XXX. I was like what is the extra $116 for? They said oh that's tax! That was very disheartening.

Great location and decent room size and clean

They went out of their way to help as my Plane Tickets through United were sold out from under me. I just needed 8 hours to stay and that was the extent. They are a resort with spa fees and other fees, they waved those because I just needed a bed.
Yes, the United ticket person could have told me it was a spa, the extra fee's chose not to. It was not the resort's fault and they were kind enough to wave fee's to help me out.

I would say for a person looking for a resort, with spa etc... A great place to stay and beautiful grounds, Good location as well as friendly people

The location of this hotel is great. Walking distance to downtown but set back far enough so you don't get the noise. The room was comfortable and right by the pool so it was easy for the kids to go back and forth.
It was a minor thing but they did not provide shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom. Yet there was bath gel, lotion and hair dryer. Their in room movie selection was poor.

Lots to do nearby- there's a street fair on Thursdays so you get some local flavor. Soak city is only 5 miles away and they have a fridge and microwave so traveling with a family is easy.

The staff were very friendly, helpful, courteous. The grounds were kept clean and fresh-looking. The heated pool was great for the cool spring nights, and the jacuzzi was wonderful.
Wish it had a continental breakfast.

High value for the price. The hotel is located a block away from downtown Palm Springs and great places to eat, yet is quiet. Great views of the mountains next door. The grounds were kept clean and fresh-looking, the pool area was great (nice that it was also heated as the nights we were there in March got cool), very kid-friendly. The staff was particularly helpful, professional, and courteous. Only thing I wish it had was a continental breakfast. Highly recommend this hotel; great ammenities for what you pay. ...read more

The location is perfect for walking to all of the restaurants and shops.
The air conditioner switching on and off kept us awake. Had to switch to fan only to keep it consistent and block noise from late night parties.

The rooms in this hotel have been very nicely upgraded. We were disappointed they took the restaurant away, but being so close to town we didn't have to walk far. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
