Location was a big draw--the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Loved the water, coffee tea, wine stations.
I was not aware of the 40 dollar charge per day to valet your car--that brought the total price up to not the best level.

Con- the room while nice was small for a four star hotel. the 40$ charge for valet was a bit much when we did not know about it. I would have liked a common spa/jacuzzi hot tub area as we did not have a jacuzzi tub in our room. Pro: Location and staff

Excellent location and view with an abundant staff.
There was a large conspicuous stain on the bed skirt. I phoned housekeeping and requested to have it changed while we were out to dinner. Two hours later it still had not been changed. No one ever came to fix it.

Valet parking only, so park your car and walk to the many great museums and Westwood Village.

nice area. close to everything i needed to go to.
the toilet was loud when i flush it.

the best bed. the restaurant is good. the server was awesome. I brought my 11yrs old girl and she a picky eater and they took care of her.

I loved the location. View was nice. The room was exactly what I expected and wanted. My best stay via Priceline yet and I always choose no less than 4 stars. I also loved the variety in the mini bar, selection of movies, and good food from room service.

The room was very nicely appointed -- big TV, upgraded bathroom. The front desk staff and wait staff in the restaurant were terrific! Super friendly!
When we got to our room, there was a ball of hair in the toilet and water left in the bathtub. Looks like the maid might have been distracted and forgot to finish! Expensive parking was a disappointment.

Chic hotel and a great location! Everywhere we went, the staff was super friendly! Wish the parking situation was different (or at least not so expensive). That will probably prohibit us from using this hotel again.

Room wasn't ready

When we arrive the room wasn't ready because they had a full occupation the day before but they apologize and offer us a late check out and complimentary breakfast so after all ir was great!

I can't think of one thing that they could have done to make my stay more pleasant. The room was very comfortable and there were plenty of electrical outlets. There was even an iphone charger. The umbrella in the closet was the icing on the cake.

The hotel while not very upscale was very well decorated and maintained. The atmosphere was very relaxing. The staff are very good at what they do, the customer service is spectacular!

At check in clerk helped the guy in front of me. When I stepped up to be checked in, she answered the phone and had me standing there waiting in front of her. Other guest were look and gasping on how rude it was.

Great staff!
Only thing I did not like was the room being so dusty! I pulled back the drapes and a huge cloud of dust came at me. All of the tables were dusty also, appearing as dirt when it was collected at the bottom of my cold soda can.

The entire staff was helpful and friendly. Everyone was quick to greet and make sure we were pleased. Our room had a wonderful view, as it overlooked suburban Westwood and the Pacific! I did not bring any pets, but the hotel is very pet-friendly. Many dogs seen, however none heard from my room or floor hall - 'twas very quiet and peaceful. I would recommend this hotel, based on service and price. I would only suggest that the rooms be dusted more efficiently prior to guests checking in. ...read more
