When we checked in the front desk clerk asked us what brought us in. We told him we were celebrating our Anniversary. Later that night he had champagne and chocolate covered strawberries delivered to our room. It was really cool and thoughtful!

The hotel was beautiful. It can't wait to visit once the top construction and the Sushi restaurant is complete. The Blue Hound restaurant was great food and service. This is a place you can stay and just hang out for a couple days. It's such a great location.

Great spacious rooms, and it was brand new. Bed was comfortable and wide open shower.
Shower did not have a door, so water sprayed onto the floor. A bit awkward design, but appreciate the space. Bottle water should be free! Its Arizona and its 90 degrees outside..come on people!

Overall great hotel.. The area outside cleaned up a lot and its right accross the street from US Airways Center. On Game days (baseball and basketball) it can get pretty crowded and streets are closed off for vehicle traffic. Only pedestrians can walk on the streets, so it can be tough to get back to the hotel with all the one way streets. I didnt have a chance to check out the pool or restaurant.. though it seems like more of a business hotel. Few suggestions.. Free bottled water please, doesnt have to be the expensive VOSS or Fiji kind.. it'll only cost the hotel a couple bucks but it has a HUGE impact on the guest. Also, the doorless showers are kind of annoying. Guest Advisory: Construction above the hotel, luxury Condos are being built so the hotel provides earplugs.. But I couldnt hear the noise and i was on the 8th floor. ...read more

Beautiful hotel
No concierge

Great location - walking distance to Chase Field. Pool could use more chair space surrounding the water

Rooms were very large. Location can't be beat. If you are a sports fan, a business person, or just need to be centrally located , this is the place to be.

Loved the hotel. Great rooms, fantastic location, staff so accommodating . Will finally stay here on my next trip to Phoenix.

The hotel, pool, bar and staff were all excellent.
No, it was everything we expected and more.

The Palomar was an excellent Hotel. We picked this hotel based on location to the sports stadiums in downtown Phoenix, the view we had was amazing and we literally walked out of the hotel and into the Suns game. Great place for locals to stay when driving in from around the valley to catch a game and have a fun night or weekend in downtown. The hotel pool and bar were exceptional as was the staff. We will definitely be back and are now big fans of the Kimpton hotel line. ...read more

It made absolutely no difference to me, but the hotel is in a massive construction zone. Parking and noise were a factor for some, but the workers were punctual at ending at 5:00pm and not beginning again until 9:00am.

Nice hotel, good location in downtown Phoenix.
I didn't find a lot of stuff that told me what was available at the hotel or in close proximity. I happened to walk out on the 2nd floor and found a whole area of shops and restaurants that are sort of hidden if you come in from the entrance n2 the lobby

Nice hotel, I still prefer the Hyatt or Sheraton. The staff was helpful and friendly, I feel that it will definitely become one of the premiere spots for younger crowds once construction in the area is completed.
