Overall a very nice stay; reception arranged a cake waiting in room on hearing it was a birthday in passing conversation - Nice touch. Some upsell going on when checking in for the breakfast buffet/club lounge package and we did go for it since we wanted to take things a little easier. Worth it if you know you can spend more time at hotel for Happy hour and can get tea/coffee all day until late.I suspect room itself would not differ too much from original one we booked with this upgrade; nice and comfortable with pillow menu but not luxurious. ...

The hotel was clean, staff was helpful, and good food located nearby. Unfortunately, we had difficulty locating the subway nearest the hotel and staff could not provide good maps for locating it.

Great hotel to stay in. The staff spoke very good English and were very helpful in booking day trips, directing us around the city, making restaurant/event recommendations, hailing and directing taxis and explaining some of the small nuances in Beijing. The rooms were very clean and the hotel had a very upscale feel to it.
