Hotel Guest Reviews of the Park Tahoe Inn
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.March 29, 2013

If you need/want to do Tahoe on a budget, then this likey is your place. The location is central to everything that people come to Tahoe for, but as a seasoned traveller, it left a great deal to be desired.
My primary negatives are listed above, but I was also disatisfied with the fact that the TV had no remote, the clock/radio was across the room, there was no coffeemaker and the shower stall (no tub) was laughably small. Also, business travellers beware: the wi-fi (no wired Internet available) is useless as you are rarely connected for more than a few seconds at a time. Strange as well is the fact that your bathroom window looks into the bathroom window of a room in the building next door!
The final straw for me is that this property--which is nothing more than a bargain roadside motel, actually, and doesn't even have a pool--has the audacity to charge a $12 per night "resort fee!"
Again, if you're doing Tahoe on the cheap and just need a place to store your gear, Park Tahoe Inn should be fine for you. But, if you're on vacation and wish to have a good time, spend a few more bucks and look elsewhere. ...

Location location. Hotel is right across the street from the gondola and the grocery store, which is very convenient. Room was a little tight in space and the bathroom is very narrow, but the cleanliness of the room and affordable price made up for the size of the room. A few disappointments with the room was that the TV didn't work it look like a TV they picked up at the thrift store it had sound but was just a fuzzy screen. We ask them to fix it twice, they where nice about having some one come look at it, but didn't do anything but wiggle some cords to get the picture clear for all of 5 minutes. ...

Friendly front desk and comfy beds, but a drip in the shower causing mold and they charged us 12$ a day for an Eco friendly charge. We didn't get them to clean our room, change the sheets or towels, and they only gave us a tiny bottle of soap and hand soap that was "Eco friendly."

I was not impressed with the Park Tahoe Inn. The only good thing about it was the location. It wasn't a trashy hotel but it definitely was not anything special. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting, with dirt in the baseboards and the shower was filthy. The TV was very outdated. The bed was very comfortable with a tempurpedic mattress. I would not have paid the amount of money I paid for this hotel. I was expecting something more for the price I paid. ...

This was very much an older motel that has been updated on the outside however the rooms need work badly. The first room we were given had paint peeling away from the walls and cracks in the bathroom walls. The staff was amazing and upgraded us to 1 of the only 2 "suites" at the motel. The beds were amazing and comfortable (brand new posturepedic matresses)! Location, Location, Location, this motel was close enough to walk to everything (private beach, restaraunts, casinos, Heavenly ski area and more)! ...
