Hotel Guest Reviews of the Parrot Key Hotel And Resort

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The rooms are beautiful with back porches. The plant life was amazing, decorated very well. The whole place was beautiful. And the beds were amazing.
There was a lot of construction around took a long time to get down town

The place is beautiful, the staff was great, a little far from Duvall with the construction, but a great place.

I loved the guest rooms and the resort atmosphere!!
The hotel was great but I wish it was a little more closer to the downtown area so that we could walk everywhere.

This is a great place for family's to stay or if your traveling in groups. The only con is the location; be prepared to pay for taxi services if you plan on having a few drinks. The location is not within walking distance to the downtown area. I traveled here with my family and they loved it! Great family place!

Location was great, room was nice, and "beach" area was well maintained.
Dead bolt to room was broken. Construction in front of hotel makes it difficult to reach by car from downtown.

Customer friendly staff.
Distance from downtown Key West, where the activities are. Had to pay $14-16 for taxi service each direction (plus tip) or rent scooter or bicycle at $15-90 per day.

Quaint style reminescent of Key West. Private pool areas or breakfast/bar area at larger of 4 pools. Friendly and informative staff.

Wonderful staff, beautiful and clean accomodationss, not so happy about the construction around hotel, made it very hard to get to and from but not their fault. Resort fee was unexpected.

back porch with sandy walk
bad mildew smell kept us up first night, changed room, less intense but still present in room 2 smelled clothing after leaving

I would not recommend staying at this hotel. Planters on wooden decks have automatic irrigation system which leaks onto the wood. Wood is covered in a layer of ?algae. The room smells like decaying, mildewing wood.

Very nice hotel, loved the large 2 bedroom suite. Lots of amenities, restaurants and stores very close by.
The pool was not heated and there was no hot tub/spa.

This is a first class facility, the staff was great. They allowed us into our room early, since it was ready. Beautiful grounds and pool areas.

comfortable large rooms, great landscaping which gave the feel of a resort though we were feet from Walgreens/etc
very limited table/working space. They had to put the alarm clock on a bottom shelf because the phone took the entire table, None in bathroom either

Had an issue with fighting neighbors/screaming/hitting - took 3 calls to rouse security which ended up being a guy who looked about 18. No one was working the desk at night. The hotel was beautiful just needed some practical upgrades - vanity, table. We ended up pulling out the drawers partway and using them as table space. Parking was very limited/had to park along with about 30 other motel cars in a shopping center nextdoor. Beautiful pools and relaxing atmosphere. ...read more
