Pb Surf Beachside Inn

the Hotel is a block from the beach, so very convenient without paying ocean front prices.. I feel like the rating is on the low side, for that type property, a 2 story 'Mom and Pop" it is more like brand new construction. Very clean and fresh. Parking on site is a plus as well.

The hotel staff were very nice. The room was clean and comfortable. Many places to eat and drink within walking distance. It is nice because it is two blocks from the beach. The coffee was like water and the muffin was like a rock. So I wouldn't bother with their continental breakfast. Just take a walk and get something better.

Very nice place. Location was great for beach and shopping. Nice California king bed.

Room was clean. Room next door was up all night. The walls are thin so was able to hear everything said all night and i mean all night. did not sleep good the first night.

For having a 2 star rating, and being so well-priced,
I expected to be in kind of a sketchy area, maybe not the cleanest etc. My expectations were completely thrown off when we arrived to a very clean, and modern room. In the middle of the pricey upscale hotels. Most of the descriptions
I read on the hotel cautioned about limited free parking, we arrived about 7:00 p.m. and found a spot. Didn't find it a problem throughout the rest of our trip. Friendly staff, though we didn't have much contact with them. And a short walk from the beach!

It was nice but no pool and call direct to get a fair price. We feel cheated by what we paid.

Nicely remodeled, very nice rooms, staff was helpful, parking is poor, location is great for the beach and most dining, morning breakfast is close to nothing. the pool is off property - too bad.
