Hotel Guest Reviews of the Planters Inn
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 8, 2013

Old, quaint hotel...we like that kind, great location, once we had our car valet parked, we didn't get it out until we left....great historic restaurant right across the street! The Olde Pink House.

We we happy with their service, especially when we arrived to find out by the front desk that Priceline cancelled our reservation. Priceline did not even send us an email explaining why the room was cancelled on their end. The hotel was very accomodating and they were able to give us the same room for the same price we originally booked at.

Planter's Inn is centrally located between the riverfront and the historic district. We were able to walk to restaurants and shops as well as ride the free trolly. The staff were helpful in suggesting tours and activities to make our visit more enjoyable. The afternoon wine and cheese party with piano was an added bonus.

I would highly recommend this hotel. The location made it easy to visit the many historical sites. Savannah is a very charming community that includes excellent lodging options such as the Planter's Inn. Having a location next to the Old Pink House was a bonus.

This was a nice hotel at a good price in the downtown area. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the complimentary breakfast had a large selection and was very good. They also offered a complimentary wine and cheese reception daily which I did not partake in, but was nice for others who enjoy wine. I would've preferred complimentary valet parking instead since this was $15.00 per night. The view of the hotel was looking at an old parking garage, but other than that our stay was great and I would consider staying at this hotel in the future. ...

Well-located in the heart of town. They have a nice wine/cheese reception for guests every evening but it's held in the lobby, which can only comfortably accommodate about 20 people. Although the room was a comfortable size, there was no desk to work at so you have to have your computer in your lap or, as I did, used the small lamp table. Wi-fi (G)is free but was so weak it was taking 30 seconds to load a page. Time to upgrade to N. Great pick for a romantic weekend but there are better choices for a business trip. ...
