Hotel Guest Reviews of the Plaza Hotel And Casino
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.December 8, 2010

Overall, I was extremely dissatisfied with our first experience with Priceline. When we attempted to check into the Plaza, which was the hotel that the reservation was made, we were told that it was closed, and then had to haul all of our luggage across the street to the Vegas Club. The hotel was very dirty, mold in the tub, wall paper peeling off every where, broken elevator, and no ice machines. Either the ice machines were broken or non existent. I also requested a roll away bed because they didn't have two queens which is fine but after calling to the front desk 3 times it never showed up. I have sleep apnea and my boyfriend and I have to sleep in separate beds, so this was a huge inconvenience. The hotel hallways had stains all over the carpets and wall paper peeling off every where. The shampoo and lotion bottles in the bathroom appeared to have already been used. The nicest amenity in the hotel room was the beer bottle opener on the sink. Gross. It would have been nice to know before hand that the Plaza was closed, but I really doubt that it was much nicer than the Vegas Club. I can't believe that these hotels have a rating of 2+ stars. The local Super 8 in our town is much nicer than our stay at the Vegas Club. We checked out of the hotel 2 days early because we had such a horrible experience. ...

Some might say that outdated rooms are dirty, but that was not the case here. Room was definitely old, but also clean. If you don't mind the bare minimum and you aren't a hotel snob, this place is just fine. That said, I would've preferred a newer and more comfy bed, but overall it was fine. I had more money to gamble with because I didn't pay the high prices on the strip!
