Hotel Guest Reviews of the Pleasanton Marriott

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

We have stayed in almost all of the 2* plus hotels/motels in the Pleasanton/Dublin/Livermor/San Ramon area and this Marriot is the best deal. We really appreciated the room appointments with refrig, microwave & net access. Bed was exceptionally good!
Close parking is not always available to late arrivals, but the parking quantity is adequate. The unloading area is small. It can be crowded if there is any bus or large vehicle already present since there is only one way into the hotel

It is older than most in this area; but, it has been exceptionally-well-upgraded. It feels fresh, new, and better laid out for meetings and small group discussions. It is very quiet--feels like a resort area instead of like other places in the middle of the business park. It is embedded with many tall redwoods and other well-designed landscaping features that make it feel like a remote, resort area. It is nestled up against the Pleasanton hills about a mile from the West side of the Business Park and only short distance to I-580. But, you are well-isolated from the noise of the freeways and business park areas because of the space use, many trees and land shielding plan. If you have a vehicle, this is the best place to stay in this area. ...read more

Great local. Helpful staff and the beds are so comfortable ! One of my favorite places to stay when I come to Pleasanton.
Didn't like that they charge 12.95 for a few hours of wifi.

As long as I can get a room for XXX I will continue to stay here. Love the fact it's so close to all the stores you can possibly think of. Very nice hotel.

Very nice staff. Upgraded to concierge level which provided a great breakfast!
This used to be a Howard Johnson Hotel and it shows. It definitely requires a redo! Very low popcorn ceilings. Not up to Marriott standards!

Staff was super friendly, clean room, very quiet
The hotel was great, my issue for this stay was with Priceline. I was told two different things which ended up with me getting off a 1am flight from NY going to the hotel and being told I didn't have accomodations for the night.

Hotel was great! Staff was great! Room was great! Priceline and the hotel communication with each other? Not so great.

Nice clean and pleasant staff
No complimentary breakfast or wifi.

The Pleasanton Marriott hotel is a nice clean hotel with a friendly staff. They were very helpful and when I needed to extend the stay for an extra day it was without difficulty. I was however very disappointed by the cost of the wifi. It seems in this day and age where wifi is available almost everywhere for free up-charging it at a minimum of $13/day is a bit of a deterrant. They also offer no complimentary breakfast which most lower cost facilities do. All in all it was a positive experience but will probably stay elsewhere when in the area. ...read more

Great bar area for meeting folks or just unwinding after a busy work day. Nice pool area too, although pool not heated so too cold to use.

This hotel was just fine but in a 4star hotel I would expect the staff to do something when they host bus loads of foriegn tourists that get drunk and run up and down the halls causing loud noise and banging on doors and the staff suggested we just ignore

Staff professed the desire to help but really didn't want to when other guests were rude, unruley and out of control at 2am. I would remove this hotel from you list completely.

The staff was excellent. Very helpful and always seemed glad to see us!
shouldn't complain since was an amenity but difficulty getting coffee packets each am for hotel's one cup at a time coffee pot. Originally only given decaf, next day no coffee, then no cups, then creamer that curdled our coffee. Not sure what was going
