Good value, large spacious rooms, historic location and nice grounds. A bit run down and outdated could use a makeover.

We stayed here for a wedding on the premises. The building is a bit of a maze, but it was fine. The room itself was a little nicer than I expected. I would describe it as quaint Victorian. The floor to our 2nd story room was creaky and the walls were super thin. We were woken up at 7am on Friday by some workers working outside and/or below our room. The continental breakfast was pastries and coffee and that's it. No juice, toast, fruit, cereal, or anything else. I thought the room was clean and in pretty good shape. My GF thoroughly checks every room we stay in for bedbugs and she didn't find any traces. The hotel bar had good, craft beer which made us very happy. I doubt I will be travel to this area again, but if i did I would stay here if possible. ...

This is a historic inn, and the grounds, restaurants, and bakery are darling. The food is very good, and the staff is friendly. There is Wifi available in all rooms. It is not immediately obvious whether a room is in the main inn or in the motor lodge behind (which until our stay I didn't even know existed). Room service is not available in the motor lodge - I couldn't even get bottled water. There are no exercise facilities nor office space, so for a business traveler this is probably not the best choice. ...

Nice place, reasonably priced with decent restaurants within a 15 minute drive. I'll stay here again.

If you are tired of the cookie-cutter hotel rooms, this is the place to stay. Quirky and rustic, Publick House is great for a break from the norm.
