Hotel Guest Reviews of the Quality Inn And Suites Hilton Head Island

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Location
Noisy, poor temperature control, and breakfast awful.

It is old and needs complete remodel. Breakfast was poorly managed and timed. The food offering was fairly good as was the quality of the food. Rooms were fairly clean for an old motel on the coast. Room clock did not work, air was very difficult to control and loud. Landscaping blowers very early on Sat. AM. Employees very loud out in parking lot at 1-2 AM Saturday night. Not friendly or even polite. No housekeeping on Saturday at all, not even made beds. No clean linen and no washcloths at all. Check-in clerk was very polite and cheerful. Light on microwave in room was so bright we had to put a towel over it. Will never stay there again. Will not recommend to anyone. Even if price was lower would not recommend. I have a home on HH and lived there for 10 years. My son lives in my home now. That motel has changed hands at least 3 times. And the Museum Rd. address is deceptive. It sits on William Hilton Parkway. Had I known this I would never have booked a room there. I thought it was new.

The pillows were good and the day time staff was nice.
Creepy, not very safe feeling. We had to travel in groups of 3 or more at all times.

It was clean, but the night staff was drunk. The pool was not clean. Also shady/creepy/crazy people hung around the outside of rooms drinking and smoking. We did not stay at the hotel much during the day for this reason.

The Breakfast in the morning was wonderful, the hostess kept every item stocked so we didn't have to wait for anything.
The Bathtub did not work for a bath for the child we had only the shower worked & kids don't like showers. Light Bulbs were blowen in 2out of 5 lamps.

The room was O.K. ,The air conditioner's from the 2 upper floors were leaking water so when you went up the stairs you had to watch the side you went up on or you would get wet.. had a problem with the Bathtub, Lightblubs were out in 2 of the 5 lamps, the Armour that held the T.V. was missing parts, We only had 3 towels, when we asked for more the front desk man said he would have some sent up. I stayed up until after 11P.m. still no towels, went to the front desk in the morning explained to the lady at the front desk, she said she would take care of that, seen the maid just asked for the towels & was given them.. The Family traveling was my Husband, Me & our Granddaughter.. Did enjoy the pool, Applebee's was right next to the hotel went in there to have dinner.. ...read more

This is a very old and dated property, it smells like mold and mildew. My child was cut on her ankle while walking beside the bed by a metal bar!

This place is very old, and smelly! My child was cut on the ankle by a metal bar protruding from the bottom of the bed! Why is there a metal bar there anyway !!! The price I paid was too high for this place. I do not recommend this property!

It was just ok, wouldn't stay there again.
This hotel had a roach crawling in the room.

The hotel appeared clean for the most part, but around midnight I noticed a roach in the room. I only saw the one, so I don't know if it was a regular occurrence. Also when checking out, the older lady working at the counter was rude after ignoring me for several Min's.
