Hotel Guest Reviews of the Quality Inn And Suites York

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

There was absolutely
nothing good about this hotel.
Room was filthy, the bathtub was repulsive, there were spiders and bugs, the rooms smelled smoky and the sheets dirty. No Internet. WTF.

This is the worst hotel on the face of the planet. The rooms were filthy and smelly. The beds had bugs and spiders. I got a massive spider bite that had to be taken care of. The Internet
did not work (even with their Ethernet box) and the doors did not close properly. I did not at all feel safe and the phone did not even work. The
only good thing was the Mexican restaurant with the bar so at least after a few beers it wouldn't
seem like such a disgusting dive hole of a hotel.

Breakfast.

Quite adequate, easy to find, neat and clean except at the bed headboards probably because the bed frame sits on a wooden form and is very difficult to move. Needs management attention!

Price was good.
Old furnishings, except for newer mattresses. Broken lamps, old tub--didn't look clean.

Was less quality than I expected. I would have been scared to stay there had I not been with a friend. Other people staying there seemed rough.

Clean, comfortable, easy access to everything, and polite helpful staff.
No good t.v. Selections or pay per view movies for rainy day.

Accomodating friendly staff, clean room. Has fridge but no microwave. Housekeeping no speak english but nice. Great pillows and comfortable bed for my bad back. Hotel construction did not effect stay. Room safe.

The beds were comfortable and the pool was great!
Bathrooms clean, but looked dirty. Could use more pool louge chairs.

Great for the money. Staff isn't very helpful when asking about things around town. I'd go again.

Can’t think of anything this time.
Cold room and check out clerk wasn’t attentive to the job. Cold room and check out clerk wasn’t attentive to the job.

The first time I stayed at this hotel/motel 2 years ago I had the same problem; I had this time with the heat in the room. I had stayed at this hotel/motel 2 weeks ago and requested a heated room and the clerk told me there rooms were now preheated so when I called to request a smoking room I didn’t think I needed to say anything. When I got to the room I found it cold, so I turned on the heat and went to eat the dinner. When I returned to the room it was still cold. I had turned the heat up to 88 but that didn’t seem to make a difference. When I complained about the room the first time they gave me a discount, this time the clerk told me I should have called and moved rooms and didn’t offer me a discount mainly I believe because he wanted to get back on the lobby computer. I had to wait for him to get off the computer about 2 minutes and then he took care of 2 people in lobby and answer the phone so all in all it was 5 minutes and I waited be serviced for check out. ...read more

The hotel was in a nice area close to downtown.

This property is what I expected for the price I paid. It was clean and the staff was friendly. If I travel to the York area again, I would use this property.

Location.
Room was in very poor condition and needed remodeled.

Would strongly recommend the hotel consider updating the rooms to attract return guests.
