Hotel Guest Reviews of the Quality Inn Hyde Park
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 21, 2013

This motel was better than I had expected, based on previous reviews. The room was a good size, beds were comfortable, and bathroom was fine too. I would like to see a few healthier options for breakfast besides white bread and frosted cereal...perhaps some healthy small muffins or whole grain bread and healthier cereals? Overall, we were happy enough with our stay and would consider going back if and when we are in the area again. It's also a quick ride from Poughkeepsie (and there's an outdoor movie right next door!) ...

For the price, the hotel was ok. We got the 45% off price from Priceline.com. The beds were comfortable, even though the sheets were quite rough, and the breakfast was adequate.

Hotel was plain and clean with updated rooms. Check in marred by occupied room and unconcerned staff, but final result was good - 2nd room was well appointed and equipped with large, comfortable bed (bed in first room appeared to be a standard double.) Check out staff bright and cheerful. Excellent breakfast. Good value.

The hotel was way too over priced for what we got. Not clean, worn out. The housekeepers put a rock in the door and kept banging the door shut while we were trying to sleep. Besides, for security sake they should not be propping the door open. The was no one staying here, so rates should have been much cheaper. Lots of other hotels/motels with cheaper rates.

The hotel was very basic but we found it to be clean. The staff was friendly. The breakfast area was too small and crammed with frenetic folks taking full advantage of the free meal. We chose to dine elsewhere. The back parking area (closest access to our room) was a bit creepy. Overall the hotel offers basic accommodations and was clean. It was also centrally located to many of the area attractions. ...

This is your basic no-frills hotel. If you need a place to sleep, it is sufficient, but not remarkable in any way. The premises seemed old and not well taken care of. Breakfast is a bit of a joke - they set up three tables in the lobby and service inedible food.
