Hotel Guest Reviews of the Quality Inn Maison St Charles
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.September 29, 2012

The room had a lot of old world charm. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. However, there were no trolleys or bellmen to help with luggage and the door lock to my room was broken. I was too exhausted from train travel to bring it up until morning, but the lock issue was one that should have easily been spotted by the maid staff.

Shabby chic lobby; mostly standard motel-style rooms with reasonably comfortable beds. It could be cleaner all over, and the baths should be renovated immediately. Several pretty courtyards and a pool area, but beware of smokers! There is a fridge in the room for leftovers, and the complimentary breakfast features hot and cold selections. Laundry room is a plus. Internet is free, but service is not entirely reliable; was out one whole night and into the next morning while we were there. Popular with families and cruise groups. Nights can be noisy. Would recommend only for a very short stay.

This is an hodgepodge hotel. The pictures are deceiving, the hotel is behind the lobby in different buildings. The parking is across the street not in the same location as the hotel kinda off putting. The parking lot is gated and there are two cameras on top of a thirty foot building. THis is a pet friendly hotel so BEWARE! Other people that bring there dogs that yap all through the night and all morning can be irritating..And there is NO compensation for it! Which happened to us. The microwave in the room did not work but was replaced with a new one when I called about it. The hotel itself seemed to be falling apart with a fresh coat of paint on it.There is a saying looks good from the freeway it fits this place perfect! also in all the reviews they say you can take the trolly in to the french quarter, well the trolly was always full. We walked most of the time or took a cab..All in all I wish I would have sprang for a more expensive hotel rather than save a few bucks here. ...

The hotel was excellent. Staff was very friendly and helpful also. It was a little far from the French Quarter to walk (for me at least) but the trolley stops right in front of the hotel and drops you off in the French Quarter. The trolley ride was $1.25 which is pretty cheap. Overall, no problems with anything at this hotel. The breakfast was pretty good too. There is also a Wendy's and a Popeye's right next door to the hotel which was very convenient. ...

My overall experience of the hotel was positive. It has some great architectural features and it's location lend to its charm. There we not major noise disturbances aside from the elevator, which was not used frequently.
