This motel is most likely to come into play only if a traveler to Grinnell commencement has not made a reservation more than six months in advance. From the get go, it is forbidding. If you approach from the east, good luck even getting to it. (You will be able to see it, but only this review will tell you to turn right to the traffic light, and then a left onto the frontage road.) The towels are threadbare, the breakfast bar will be a good way to kick off a diet. ...

Disappointed; too much chlorine in hot tub so much so it had to close, front desk help fell asleep and was not prepared for breakfast and then did not keep up with needs of breakfast, running out of everything and garbage overflowing.

It was fine. I would stay there again. The guy at check in was covering for someone and a bit lost, but the morning crew was on top of things. They could use a little work on replacing the caulking in the shower and cleaning the coffee pot in the room. Everything else seemed clean enough.
