Hotel Guest Reviews of the Quality Inn Roanoke Airport

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The location was convienent but the room was awful and we will never stay there again.
The room was dirty and the bed was awful with no comforter only a thin sheet and a very very thin yellow "blanket" that shouldn't be called a blanket. We actually stayed in Roanoke Sunday night also but went somewhere else because we were so disappointed.

The room was dirty and the bed was awful with no comforter only a thin sheet and a very very thin yellow "blanket" that shouldn't be called a blanket. I wouldn't even shower in the shower. No refrigerator or microwave in King Room. Was misled..some rooms have these and ours didnt. Tje free breakfast was terrible. We wouldn't even eat before leaving due to the quality of the food. Was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. We actually stayed in Roanoke Sunday night also but went somewhere else because we were so disappointed. We stayed at Holiday Inn and it was much nicer and even cheaper!! ...read more

The location of the hotel was convenient, the room was comfortable and clean, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Also, there was a nice outdoor courtyard, which I appreciated- especially with having a toddler who likes to get his energy out.
Nothing I didn't really like. The beds weren't anything to write home about & the bathroom was small, but I wasn't expecting anything fancy from a 2 star hotel. Everything was satisfactory.

I would definitely stay here again! Relatively inexpensive, clean, comfortable, friendly, and well maintained. Plus there were a couple of restaurants available on the same street, which we utilized after a long day's travel. If you're looking for a good hotel and don't care about having all the frills, stay here.

Old furniture, old mattress on bed - generally not a very nice room

More of an "economy" hotel - definitely not deserving of the star rating it was given.

Check in was friendly.
The mattresses and no mite protectors. The pillows looked like travel pillows and were very lumpy. Fortunately I bring my own.

I feel the bid I won was too high for this hotel. I've stayed at much nicer hotels for the same price (3 and 3 1/2 stars). It might have been a nice hotel in it's day but it's very old. The layout of the rooms are very spread out. So if you don't want to walk very far in the cold, ask for a room closer to the check in. The beds are old. There were no mite protectors on the mattresses only mattress covers and quite sure they are not changed with each visitor. Carpet was dirty. Drain backed up in tub. Very few TV channels with only 1 HBO station. Breakfast was lacking in quality. No fresh fruit, only canned fruit. 2 choices of sugar cereal. Milk wasn't cold, set in pitcher on a layer of ice. No one to ask if it was whole milk, 2%, 1% or fat free. Nothing looked appetizing. ...read more

Free internet, free breakfast, staff was friendly
The bed spread was really old and cheap. The sheets had a tear in them and the pillow cases were so thin that you could see the tags of the pillows

The hotel was a decent value for what I spent but I could have gotten a much nicer hotel for a little bit more money. First off, this is a motel with the room doors opening to the outside. That isn't a huge deal to me but I did have to walk into the cold to get breakfast at an early hour. The motel is old and has an old feel to it. The design is old and so are the tubs ect. It had an old style tv. The sheets had a tear, the bead spread was cheap and old and the pillow cases were really thin.
Next time I book with an express deal, I'll try to get a little nicer hotel.

Very close to a great Mexican restaraunt and easy access from the highway.
In need of updates indoors and out. Kingsized beds come with very tiny pillows that really need to be upgraded to better quality.

We live two hours from the airport and had a very early departure time. This hotel was a great place to stay for that night. I wouldn't stay there for R&R or as a vacation destination, but I don't think that's what they expect from travelers either. Lots of construction workers using it as a temporary home when we stayed.

Double bed room was very spacious, included an iron and ironing board, and the location is perfect for commuters on 81..will definitely stay again, totally worth what we paid!
