Hotel Guest Reviews of the Quality Inn Roanoke-Tanglewood

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Inexpensive, pretty clean, comfortable bed and
location felt safe.
Thin walls, loud environment, running toilets and loud refrigerator.

Inexpensive and courteous, attentive staff. Don't get a room located at the top of the stairwell--main thoroughfare for all customers and very loud.

Clean linens and comfortable beds.
Cigarette burn on comforter, black mold on tub caulk.

Value and location.
At night, the hotel's road entrance sign was difficult to see from the main street from which one turned.

Good value for the money.
Rooms and furnishings were clean, but definitely showing their age.

We were looking for a place to stay overnight on our return from vacationing in PA. The Quality Inn was clean, quiet, ad reasonably priced, which was exactly what we were looking for. Not fancy, but it met our needs.

Close to highway, surrounding stores and restaurants.
Room could have been a little cleaner. Found someone's toe nails behind the night stand. My daughter's knees were black from crawling on the floor.

Near the hospital I was going to the next morning.
MnM's bay broken in the snack machine.

Basic overnight stay, cheap price, outdated decor, location near my destination.

Not much.
Bathroom was filthy and moldy, outdated amenities in room, furniture was falling apart.

I was ashamed to house my family in this hotel, I felt like I wanted to go the local store and buy cleaning supplies so that I could clean the bathroom before allowing my kids to take a shower or use the toilet. Forget about moving or eating at the table, in fear that it might collapse. The TV was such an old tube that the picture was distorted, discolored, and hard to see. I would not recommend this place to anyone. ...read more

It was easy to find.
The clerk seemed a bit nonchalant when I reported my a/c wasn't working in the room.

The staff was friendly, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean.
The carpet appeared dirty and not enough outlets.

The hotel was fine for the night.
