Hotel Guest Reviews of the Quality Resort Chateau Canmore
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.Sort by: All Travelers | Solo Traveler(2) | Traveling as Couple(8) | Family with Young Children(1) | Family with Teens(1) | Senior Traveler(1)

The only thing I liked about the hotel was the lobby. Especially when I checked out.
The hotel had terrible rooms. They are right next to railroad tracks where trains arrive and leave on a regular basis. They had no way to block out the loud sounds other than close the window, at which time you had to turn on a loud fan to cool the room
There is nothing I could say to recommend this hotel. The hotel was not even supplied with bottle openers for the rooms so I had to scout for of 20 minutes to find one (no room service).

We had a loft bedroom suite; fabulous! Close enough to Banff. Canmore is a very pretty town!
Hot tub wasn't clean.
Close to Hwy 1 but you can't hear the highway. However it's right next to CP Rail's line; if you like trains then. Check-in was average, found the room just fine. VERY nice having a gas fireplace.

No smell, which was the best part. Beautiful hotel with a mountains feel, great location, amazing staff, spacious room, awesome gym facility, amazing experience, perfect for a family.
Just the parking is a little tight, and when we were there the hotel was fully booked, so that was a bit of an issue. And a slow elevator, which isn't a big deal.
If you have a family, this is the place to stay.

There is a separate kitchen in the room.
Parking was hard when we went back the hotel after 10:00 pm.
The staff very friendly. I didn't like the room, I reserved because it faced the railway. The staff charged a quiet room for me.

The kitchenette and living area made it feel less crowded.
The furnishings and flooring are old and I was not sure they were clean.
The name sounds far more "Grand" than the actual premises is.
