Hotel Guest Reviews of the Radisson Hotel Newport Beach

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Newly renovated lobby and rooms.
No porters. No bell carts available. No valet parking. Room not ready at check in. NOT a 3 1/2 star hotel!

Don't expect 4 star service here. You won't get it. Not even 3 star. The staff is unavailable for bag service with limited bell carts and parking is on your own. I've seen better amenities at lesser ranked hotels. Because of its proximity to the airport this hotel seems more suited to the commuter who's used to discount lodging. (this is not, however, discounted)

The pool area was beautiful. Quiet (except for planes overhead, but that was nice), shady spots to hide and lush and colourful gardens around. The staff at the front desk and at the restaurant were exceptional.
A bit far, not really in Newport Beach (outside the city limits). Inter-leading room meant we could hear the neighbours breathing.

For the price we paid, this hotel was ideal. The drive to the beach was about 15 minutes, but this meant that we spent the whole day out and about. The last day we spent laying at the hotel pool because it was just so beautiful. The hotel staff were fabulous. Attention to detail and customer satisfaction is an obvious key element to their training. The only snag was that they gave us an inter-leading room and our neighbours were two ladies attending a conference. Their evening post-conference chats were interesting, as we could hear every single word that was said. ...read more

Great location, clean rooms, comfortable bed.
The water in the tub drained very slowly...bathrooms could use an upgrade.

Overall good experience, staff is very helpful and accomodating, would definitely stay again.

One charming staff/helper Natasha.
Rm not same as one shown. No refrigerator. Not the handicapped rm promised. We were wkg a mtg & didn;t see room until late. We had a conference for 10 so they set up for 12 both days...DUH..more work for me. Staff under 30, have trouble processing!

What can I say. No communications. Promises unkept. The large amount we spent on our 10 guests was well spent only because of he pleasure of their marvelous company. They are all very influential people in and around the county, state, country and even the world. Sincerely, S D Sangree

I was surprised that my room was old and outdated. It was not reflective of the remodeled rooms featured in the photos online.

The staff was very friendly & accommodating.
Too close to the airport. The first night the room was very small, loud, and the bed was uncomfortable. We asked to switch our room and they did so without any problem.

Overall, this is an okay hotel. Nothing fancy, but serves it's purpose. It is very close to the airport so there is a lot of air traffic and noise. We were disappointed because we were hoping for something more quiet and closer to the beach. Friendly staff.
