Good location on north end of downtown. Upgraded room to suite, which gave more room.
Two small elevators were very slow. Small bathroom, noisy water pipes in wall.

Fair pricing and overall location
It is older but decently renovated. Staff did not seem to be too friendly and rooms were small even with the double bed suites.

Overall, for the money this is a nice hotel with comfortable beds and convenient location. Wish there was parking within the building because it was somewhat inconvenient walking over to the next block to get the car every time we wanted to drive somewhere.

Great staff, great rooms, great location.
Only downside to the hotel was no breakfast area. There is an independent stand for coffee and donuts, but really no where to sit.

Parking is available offsite 1 block away, $20 less than valet parking at the hotel.

Yes, the Hotel itself was excellent. The staff at the guest area, check-in and door men, lacked professionalism in my opinion. They kept busy, however one was sweeping the sidewalk out front and didn't pause when my wife and I walked past.
Better information and pricing on parking and more detailed directions on how to better load and unload luggage. The Hotel is on one side of the street and one available parking area is on the other side of the street. Had to circle the block.

Mostly the Hotel couldn't do much better to make itself more enjoyable. Location is excellent to most anything you want to see downtown, and it is most convenient to the John Hancock building which offers an excellent view of the sunset from the observation deck. Best part of that is after you leave the Hancock building you have only half a block to be "home". For those of you who may not feel safe walking around after dark. ...read more

The location of this hotel can't be beat! The Raffaello hotel is located within walking distance to all of Chicago's best shopping and attractions.
I was disappointed with the condition of my room. Overall it was clean, but really worn and in need of an update.

The location of this hotel can't be beat! The Raffeallo Hotel is located within walking to Chicago's best shopping and attractions. However, this hotel is far from a four star rating. I would give this hotel a two and a half star rating. My room was clean, but in dire need of a paint job. The bathroom was spacious but really worn and definitely needed to be updated. This hotel is in a great location. The Manager worked with our group to accommodate all of us. All of the staff was extremely friendly.
The elevators were extremely small and slow.

The hotel has a great location. Walking distance to great restaurants, attractions, and shopping. The lounge on the upper floor was very quaint and would be a nice place for a drink (weather was cold and wet when we were here).
Limited access to WiFi. Charges of $9.95 for access to WiFi in room.

The rooms were very nice. The hotel was quiet. Showers were wonderful. Nice lounge and restaurant looked good - we didn't use it. Limited breakfast but great restaurant across the street. There were complaints about the elevators which were small but not any hardship. The common area upon entrance to the hotel is small and limited.
