Hotel Guest Reviews of the Ramada Conference Center Altoona Pa
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 10, 2013

Indoor pool shares same space as rooms that surround it so everything feels damp and smells of chlorine. Threadbare rugs and rundown look inside and out.

The worst, nastiest hotel I have ever stayed at. I will never do business with this establishment again and anyone who asks about the Ramada in Altoona I will be more than happy to be honest. I spoke with the attendant in the morning and she stated since I was a Priceline customer there would be nothing she could or would do.

This is the third time that I have had an issue with crap rooms in the past couple of months through Priceline. If hotels are offering crap rooms to your customers to save a couple of bucks, then I don't want to use Priceline to reserve them. If this happens again I won't use your service.

Rooms are filthy. I don't think they washed the pillows. I will never stay here again and I visit Altoona for business often.

After traveling by car 8+ hours, arriving late on a Friday night, I checked in and was asked, 'Would you like the 2nd or 3rd floor', having never been at this hotel before and very tired, I said, 'it doesn't matter'. Big mistake. My room was
first one off the lobby. I quickly went to sleep and the next morning when I woke up, I opened the curtains, only to be staring into a huge restaurant, which opened at 7am. I was astounded such a room would be given to anyone.
Any attempts to rest were impossible with the noise, voices and music coming from the restaurant. When I mentioned this awful room when I checked out, I was told that 'many customer actually request this room' - yeah right.
I'll never know, but in the future, I will request a
quiet room, not over the nightclub, bar, fitness room, pool and
restaurant. ...

Would not recommend this hotel to anyone, way overpriced, the rooms and building in general was outdated and semi run down. The hallways and room had a musty smell, the in room ac was very load, Tv was old as dirt, carpet was worn with torn. Extremaly over priced.

inoperable pool.
Do not stay here until the whole hotel has been fumigated and the management realizes that they have to clean the entire hotel.
