Hotel Guest Reviews of the Ramada Denver Midtown
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.June 15, 2013

I would not recommend this hotel unless you are on a budget. This place looked like a homeless shelter, and was really noisy at night.

Right next door to Elitch Gardens, The Aquarium, and access to the light rail ... as well as the up and coming Highlands neighborhood shops and restaurants makes this a hotel worth staying at.

Overall very poor, location was the only plus. Filthy run down buildings poor hotel staff. The staff was very irritated when we asked for a return of remaining days, they refused so we delt with it by spending only about 8 hours over the next two days there and I purchased another room for a night. Double booked myself for hotels and expense.

Staying at this hotel was one of the worst experiences ever! It is dirty dirty and in serious need of repairs and deep cleaning! The parking was horrible! The whole place stunk. People were allowed to be beyond loud outside and get drunk on the balcony causing my kids to be scared and up all night. I wouldn't suggest this hotel to anyone that has kids or wants a good night's rest! ...

Good: pretty quiet for where it is. Complimentary breakfast with actual cooked food (though I'm gluten-intolerant so I couldn't eat most of it- if I wasn't, it would have been nice enough I'm sure). Staff was pleasant enough. Comfortable place to study in the room. Near a creek-side walking and biking trail that leads to downtown. Right next to a small convenience store. Small (less noise, generally), only 2 floors. People actually respect the "do not disturb" signs. They're pet-friendly, too, but I don't know what their policies are because I didn't get to bring my fur-friends. Bad: I had a non-smoking room, but it still smelled like smoke all the time. Thin walls. There was something, maybe insulation, loose on my window that sounded like a motor when the wind blew. It's next to Speer street, so Friday and Saturday nights can be rather hard to sleep through (ambulance sirens blaring, people yelling, drivers honking their horns for longer than is probably necessary at 2 am). The security of the place was questionable. I made sure to park right beneath my window because I got a little paranoid. Graffiti and homeless people don't bother me, but they might bother some people so I'll mention that you will see both nearby. Overall I liked my stay just fine. ...

I was very disappointed with the hotel and conditions. Upon our arrival, housekeeping had not completed cleaning the rooms. The parking lot did not have snow removal completed or was ever completed. The room door showed signed of an illegal entry. I honestly was terrified to have my family at this location. We were concerned for theft and our overall safety. I would love to share photos of the disgust we were subjected to. Although, I informed the reception area of the broken lock, we were not offered another room. We were only informed it would be fixed. Again, we were subjected to unsanitary, unsafe and unsatisfactory service provided by this hotel. I am requesting a full refund. ...

Overall a great experience. It was clean. Free parking right next to room. Free shuttle to and back from the Pepsi center. (The shuttle is more like a cab--you call the front desk ahead of time and they arrange for it). Free breakfast with fresh omelettes. Nice, helpful staff. It is not in a really nice block, but it also didn't seem to be in a very bad area either.
