Hotel Guest Reviews of the Ramada Downtown Hollywood

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Lots of restaurants and patios near by. The pool was nice an warm.
Not walking distance to the beach

Lots of places to eat nearby. The rooms were nice and confortable. Vary clean.

I liked nothing about this hotel.
bad parking and cost extra, bad location, unclean, smelly, staff is lazy and and not very friendly friendly, things are poorly maintained.

I have explained in the section above. My advice is "don't stay there".

Hotel is in a great, centralized vacation if you're visiting the Hollywood area. Staff went way above and beyond to help us. Grounds need some work but rooms were very nice and comfortable.

Staff was awesome! We arrived very early for our check-in and they allowed us to check-in as soon as a room became available (called our cell phone to let us know even!) Upon departure, we couldn't get a cab to save our lives and Christine (the desk clerk) called 8 cab companies, spending over 1/2 hour, until she tracked one down for us. Great centralized location for visiting Hollywood and pool was being remodeled during our stay (looked very nice.) Hotel is old but well maintained and rooms are clean, comfortable and look to be recently renovated. Free in room coffee and direct tv too.Great deal for the level of service and star level. ...read more

Convenient location for my trip
Outdoor carpeted areas smelled. The rooms were fair, decor was not updated.

Location is great if you need access to the downtown Hollywood area. Other than that the hotel is okay but definitely not a luxury experience.

staff were great, location was great
I get that it's a two star - the room was DISGUSTING; I requested a room change but hotel was full. It was a smoking room, which was bad, but there was filth and ashes over the bedside table and covering the phone. I have photos

Great staff, good location - make sure you don't get stuck in the room right off the 5th floor elevator. Totally sick!

The hotel location. It is close to a variety of places to eat, but parking is scarce.
My room had tile throughout, no carpet. I had to keep my shoes on because my socks got dirty in the time I spent in my room; very humid the A/C worked but it wasn't enough, plus the window didn't open.

Nice room in a great location
I didn't realize that being next to the elevator would be so noisy. We had an early flight and you could hear the mechanics of the elevator every time it moved, all night long. In addition, the guest were rude and loud getting on and off the elevator.

Would stay again.

Staff and location!
I got a suite and all the furniture did not match and beds were smaller than double.

I stay here twice a year and never had a problem before. As I mentioned before the suite we got this time, the furniture did not match, no mirror on the wall and we had trouble with the lamps in the room. (sometimes they worked sometimes they did not!)Other than that staff were wonderful, location great and definitely would stay there again. Pool was always heated perfectly!
