The price and location.
The building is old. It honestly need a tear down and rebuild to get updated. Parking was limited and not very functional. Elevator is tiny. When we were leaving and looking in and around beds for items, we saw a half eaten candy bar and sock.

We liked the location, the price, and free breakfast, but the facility needs serious updating (actually a teardown/rebuild). The parking is a very low height parking garage that has the smallest spaces. The elevator is tiny. Our room shook and vibrated when the HVAC ran and you could hear the motor. The free breakfast is only breads and fruit. We did like the free internet, beds, and TV. But I would not recommend others or go back unless you are desperate for price like we were. ...read more

Parking, elevator to small there was a line forced to take stairs with luggage

For a one or today stay room was nice. elevator was entirely too small only accommodate maybe one to people with luggage and we were forced to take the stairs up to the sixth floor with luggage that was awful!

Spacious rooms. Low key, excellent location in Downtown Hollywood for dining and shops. Easy access to beach too.
Carpet on pool deck. High moisture in rooms.

This is a Hollywood landmark. Been around a while and has a quirky decor and interior reflective of old Hollywood and South Florida. If you want a low key, comfortable, super convenient place to stay (with affordable hotel or free street parking and on-site laundry) h this is a great choice.

Most unpleasant place in Miami. Dirty carpets, not working sinks, nasty administration.

Paint is falling off from walls.

Location is amazing and hotel is very open and spacious..
Parking is tight and costs.

Overall, a great hotel. Parking is a problem and is $5 a day however the location and hotel make up for it. Great hotel experience. Fun tiki bar and pool also.

The staff, location, the way it looks from the out side entry.
I did not like the room smelled really bad could not sleep due to the smell.. the elevators were so hot and the parking fee for the small parking lot!
