Hotel Guest Reviews of the Ramada Gaslamp - Convention Center

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Great location near restaurants, trolley, entertainment. Free airport shuttle. Internet station & wi-fi.
Small room with bathroom plumbing issues. Window a/c unit. Ancient sloooowwwww elevator. No free breakfast.

Given that I got my room at HUGE discount, I can't really complain too much. If I'd paid anything close to full price, though, I'd have felt cheated.

Fantastic location! just a few steps to Gaslamp District
I wish i knew the bathroom sink is outside the bathroom, no mirrow in the bathroom, the elevator doors are heavy be prepared to enter elevator!

The only nice thing about this ramada is the location other than that it is pretty old. the elevator is hard to get into with luggage because of the two heavy doors you have to hold while going in. the room door hits the bed as you open it. the staff does not approach you.unfortanently, not a very good experience

the restaurant next door was very convenient and delicious. the old-time elevator was a once in a lifetime experience. and the view from the roof is beautiful!
obviously the room is quite small. but the shower was tiny!

Rooftop balcony

Very small rooms. Old hotel, therefore, a lot of old hotel problems will occur. I.E. clogged sink, loud floors, etc.

It's old fashion hotel with an old elevator, really great. The location is fantastic, just a 2 min walk to the party street to celebrate.
The parking is quite expensive, it costs us aditionally 20 bucks for parking, but it's everywhere expensive in the city.

The staff is sometimes really busy, so you have to wait some minutes for your car.

The charm of the hotel is out of the world, the location is even better.
That the parking was offsite.

Great location for Gaslamp district. Though a little noisy. Very friendly and helpful staffs.
The room was a bit small and decoration showed of age.

Front desk was not very helpful. Lack of attention to detail service.

Upon checking in the staff asked me to sign a release saying that I wouldn't complain or move out due to noise. Noise was worst than average, especially on weekend. After signing release, I thought it might have been worse.

The elevators were really cool. They were very old but completely safe.

The hotel was awesome. It was a beautiful hotel that was very quaint. It had all of the modern conveniences, but still held the antique charm of a hotel that has been open since the early 1900's.
