Please avoid staying in Starsburg, VA area, there are not many restaurants or hotesl in this area. May be Front Royal is better option. This hotel was really bad, best avoided.

The room was clean and the price was very good. But when I attempted to take a shower that evening the water was ice cold. I called the front desk and they said they "would go downstairs and trip the circuit breaker to turn the hot water back on". I tried to take a shower the next morning and still no hot water. I called the front desk again and the woman said she would "send him down to reset the breaker". Why don't they fix their electrical system so the breakers don't blow? The desk person was unapologetic and didn't seem to care. I will not stay there again. ...

Staff was very helpful, when asked about close places to eat and any suggestions on evening activities... The hotel "bar" closes at 9pm... Hotel is on the older side, but in general our room was clean, for the $$ it was well worth the stay.

The staff was awesome, it is convienently located off of 81, but had I known about the pool being in a different location, I may not have booked the room. I think it is important for that to be noted somewhere so people are not surprised, like I was....
