Hotel Guest Reviews of the Ramada Jersey City
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.April 30, 2013

This hotel is within 10 minutes walking distance from the PATH train which takes you into New York City. We used an unlimited week long PATH pass ($29) and an unlimited week long Metro card ($30) to get around in New York, and New Jersey (Newark & Hoboken on the PATH line). If you are in good physical form this type of travel for New York City is definitely worth the cost of the hotel and the train passes! We traveled with a group of 30 people, and no one had any problems with theft or aggression. The main road between the Ramada Inn and Journal Square station is well traveled, with many small commerces and restaurants. There are, of course, some homeless people, and questionable characters, in the area, but we never felt concerned about our security. ...

Very close to JSQ path station, Friendly staff, excellent service. Rooms are a bit outdated, but other than that my stay was definitely a positive one.

The hotel staff was very pleasant, the room was very confortable and clean, the continental breakfast was great with plenty food and choices. The only problem we saw was that we could not control the temperature in the room and was very warm, but for the price we paid, we are not complaining.
