Hotel Guest Reviews of the Ramada Lafayette

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The pool was closed because it was dirty. My key never worked one time the front desk had to open my door every time.

The gentleman behind the front desk counter was great. He was welcoming. friendly, and helpful.
The pool was closed, the room smelled bad, and there was no cable in my room. I really like watching tv before going to bed and I had to watch infomercials because all the cable channels listed did not work. Only the basic local channels were viewable.

I was there for the Internacional Festival and it was a short cab ride from there. The room was neat but it smelled bad. Maybe they need better laundry detergent for the sheets and towels to give the room a better scent. The a\c worked great and the guy who checked me in was really nice and helpful. The free breakfast was good too. There was alot to choose from. It was not the worst hotel stay but I was dissapointed in The Ramada. It felt more like a motel 6 with a funny smell. I feel like I should have got a discount because I had no cable which is part of the price. All I could watch before going to bed was infomercials. The tv only had basic local channels. The staff made it so I would stay there again for fest weekend but I would have them check on the cable first and I would bring a can of fabreeze. ...read more

The staff was excellent, especially the girl behind the front desk.
Slight problem getting a shuttle from the FBO at the airport

For the price I had zero complaints and the staff was very easy and pleasant to deal with, especially the woman that checked me in. My hotel room was clean and comfortable and I didn't notice any noise coming from outside my room.

While this was a very old hotel, reminiscent of the 70's, it was clean, had great amenities, and the staff was very friendly. This was the perfect hotel for an affordable place to sleep while working in Lafayette. I didn't need fancy, but the room still had a microwave, mini-fridge, iron and ironing board, coffee maker and hair dryer - much more than I expected for the price. I will definitely stay here again when I'm in Lafayette working and need a decent place to sleep. ...read more

Pet friendly and low fees.
Very run down and not recomended. I would have had a better experience at Super 8 Motel.

Facility needs serious updating. I felt like
I was in a bad neighborhood and I know I was not.

Nothing!
Everything!

This hotel/motel was unsavory. One has an idea of what a "Ramada" hotel is supposed to look like and be like, and this one did not meet any of those standard.
