Solo Traveler
The rooms were fine,
a little awkward in places, squeezing a fridge and microwave into a small annex. Very clean, generally comfortable with adequate facilities.

The hotel met my expectations overall. The staff was friendly & helpful with the only exception of not helping to load the bags or taking them to the room. The parking was a little out of the way - a block and a half away. I wasn't comfortable walking outside at night. Even during the day there wasn't a warm comfy feeling in the surroundings. The breakfast was hot and fresh, however, the room was too crowded. I would suggest a bench along the wall with tables in front to allow for more seating. There definitely needs to be more seating available. Too many people were standing at the windowsill or the microwave stand eating. We had to take our food to our room the one morning. All in all I would suggest the hotel for a short vacation. Very convenient to the train station into Hoboken or NYC. Not far from Carlo's Bake Shop.

Solo Traveler
This hotel is located about two blocks from the PATH train, which is a convenient and cost-efficient way to get into Manhattan. There is also a parking area about a block away and the rates are pretty good considering the proximity to NYC. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and bug-free. For someone who is not used to a city, the sounds outside might be a little loud, but I'm used to it and didn't mind. ...

Family Traveling with Teens
Staff are helpful, breakfast surpassed expectation. Hotel was too old. Water penetrated thru' the wall due to strong wind and rain caused by hurricane Irene. My luggage were all wet. Air conditioner was noisy and not cold enough. There was a moldy smell in the room.

The hotel staff were attentive and helpful. The room was a great price and yet was spacious, clean and comfortable. My husband and I were extremely pleased with our experience at this hotel.
