Hotel Guest Reviews of the Ramada Plaza Marco Polo Beach Resort
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 5, 2013

This is an older hotel--but the rooms were roomy and VERY well kept up. The lobby seemed new. The location is superb.

I called two times to inquire about truck parking. I was specific with my needs and was told both times I called that there wouldn't be a problem. There was
no parking for our truck. Very inconvenient. The hotel made it difficult to pay with the credit card I used to reserve the room. This was a business trip and using the company credit card has never been an issue with other venues. ...

The hotel was great. I took a chance on booking it after looking at the reviews. I arrived about an hour early and my room was not ready so they gave me an upgrade to the beach and I was in heaven.

The hotel is part of a time share corporation. The rooms were modeled for long term stays. It is right on the beach with a Tiki bar on the premises. The hotel staff was helpful and friendly. The lower floor of the hotel had a small shopping mall that was very convenient.

The hotel was nice. Was very disappointed to learn after arrival that there was an $18/day valet parking fee plus a $10/day resort fee. Our expected hotel cost was increased by an additional $150 unexpectedly. That's not including tips for the valet drivers. The rooms were all tile and very clean. However, the tint was peeling off the windows and looked cheap. Also had an extremely difficult time connecting to the internet, (which was free and part of the $10/day resort fee).
