Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. STAYED HERE FOR ONE NIGHT WITH FAMILY AND FRIEND AFTER THE VISIT TO SEAWORLD. IT WAS AN OKAY HOTEL FOR THE PRICE THAT I PAID FOR, HOWEVER; WALL NEAR THE DOOR LOOKS LIKE IT NEEDS SOME REPAINTING. ALSO YOU CAN HEAR NEXT ROOM CONVERSATION FROM THE BATH TUB. OTHER THAN THAT, THE ROOM IS CLEAN AND EVERYTHING ELSE IS OKAY. THEY SERVE CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST TOO. ONE ADDED POINT IS THAT THE HOTEL IS LOCATED RIGHT NEXT TO THE PIER (HOPE I GET IT RIGHT) IN THE MORNING IF YOU ARE LUCKY YOU CAN SEE SOME SPORTS FISHERMEN WITH THEIR CATCH. VERY INTERESTING ...

Nice and friendly staff! Great continental breakfast and he time for breakfast was longer than usual! Usually you have to get up early because they shut down early, not this one.

Disappointed with the hotel rooms. When we arrived the room had a very nasty musty smell to it. We had to leave door open to air out. The rooms are small, beds uncomfortable, lots of outside noise.

The facilities were clean and neat. Our rooms and bathroom were clean. I was pleased that the bathroom was pretty roomy. The flat screen t.v. was a bonus. Didn't make use of the coffee maker when I was able to get coffee with the hotel's complimentary breakfast. My one and only complaint is the paper thin walls. It was hard to fall asleep when you can hear the kids in the next room. Other than that, I liked this hotel enough that we would use it again if we're in the area. ...

I got to San Diego a night earlier then scheduled so I needed to find a hotel for one night. My wife picked out a couple for the same price range, but I picked Ramada thinking it would be better from the pictures and also included free breakfast. We got in around midnight so shuttle service was no longer running. Had to cab it from there which was about $10. The main entrance was taped off so had to go around another way. My 2 1/2 year old was scared just going down the halls. The front desk checked us into a handicap room, so the bathroom was large, but the room was small. The window was open when we got in. The room just looked old but the bed seemed to be clean. Nothing was open for food but the front had some TV dinners and cup noodles for sale. The room had a microwave and frig. Breakfast was generic cheap hotel free breakfast. Coffee, toast, mini bagels, cereal, and of course the main attraction, make it yourself waffles. I wanted to catch the shuttle back to the airport to pick up my rental car as soon as possible, but was told that the shuttle only runs every hour on the hour and we had to put our name down first. Being as it was 8:02 am, I had to wait the rest of that hour. When the shuttle arrived, it was a nice big shuttle (I don't think it was exclusive to the hotel). So all in all. I have to admit that I'm pretty spoiled when it comes to hotels (checked in US Grant after this) but for the price, I could have gotten something that wasn't old and scary. I should have just let my wife pick since shes better at that and now I'm going to have to hear about it again and again.

We pretty much stayed at the hotel to sleep and get ready for the next day, so we weren't in the actual hotel very much. When we checked in I asked to change to a 2 double or Queen room since we unexpectedly brought the kids. The staff who checked us in told us we would have to pay extra because it was considered an "upgrade." I asked why since when I booked the room the 2 double rooms were the same exact price as the King room. She wouldn't budge so we kept the king room and asked for a rollaway at least. Those can be used for an "upgrade" charge as well. Ridiculous. So, we made a "bed" out of towels blankets and pillows on the floor for the kids. Very lame. The bathroom needed a lot of work. The bathtub needed to be sealed- big opportunity for mold there. There were also random holes in the bathroom walls that needed patchwork.
The bedding was less to be desired, cheap scratchy stuff. The bed it's self was hard as rock. The pillows were old and lumpy- beyond fluffing to fix. If your skin is sensitive don't use their soap, my skin broke out in hives that covered my hands for most of the trip- it took me a couple days to figure out what the culprit was: their cheap soap products. The A/C is so loud, but the room was stuffy so we had to have it on while we slept. The fitness room was subpar, but what is expected of the lower brands. The cont'l breakfast was ok, what you would expect- but it's "free" so can't complain too much. The mini fridge was nice though, at least. ...
