Hotel Guest Reviews of the Ramada Shelbyville

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The front desk person was very helpful, and the pool/hot tub area were very nicely maintained.

Room was good, everything was clean. the bed was comfortable
We booked a smoking room but was informed when we arrived that they had all non smoking rooms. We were on the 4th floor and in order to smoke we had to go all the way down to 1st floor and outside

Nice pool and hot tub. Room was good.

Some of the front desk members were friendlier and more helpful than others, over all a pretty good experience. Much better hotel experience with Priceline than Travelocity!

Its availability - so many hotels were unavailable because of the Kentucky Derby.
The cleaning staff did not replace toilet paper or towels as expected.

The free breakfast was helpful, although I would prefer regular yogurt, NOT "Light" with unhealthy fake sugar.

Great room. friendly staff, just a little hard to find(coming in on I64E)
No bath towels in room. In the morning, the front desk didn't have any as I was informed they were all in the dryer. I couldn't wait, so I used several hand towels instead. Which was fine(Just a little strange in an otherwise perfect hotel.)

The room was good and the staff were helpful.....it was a really nice room for the price....I also ate next door at the steakhouse and it was really good
room 117, room above heard all night walking across floor. Sunday breakfast out of salt, maybe could have got some, no hard eggs without, but person on duty just told them they were out. Construction makes it difficult, no other eating places to walk to.

I loved the price of the room in view of how nice the room was. Also happy there was pool, however, lots of loud kids made that not possible. The front desk helped with directions by printing mapquest directions for me since I was running behind....loved that you had flavored cream for the coffee. There was ample towels and the refrigerator was nice also. Did wish I had a tv channel guide though, not used to that company, hard to find all the channels to see weather in morning, etc. Will definitely recommend this hotel if in area again ...read more

Central location to the Kentucky Bourbon Trail.
Nothing negative to say!

If you are visiting the local distilleries, this is a great place to stay. Cattlemen's Steakhouse next door has EXCELLENT food and service. Liquor store and movie theater both in walking distance!

Nice staff. Big room.
Noisy. Can hear trucks running nearby highway all night. And can also hear people snore and talking clearly. This means the sound insulation of the hotel is not good. Breakfast area is a bit small. Food is just ok.

Hard to sleep during night as I was bothered by noises around my room.
