The location and the spacious rooms.
No. Everything was good

First time we stay at this hotel and were pleasantly surprised by the large rooms. The adjacent diner is definitely a plus. It is located almost next to the airport, which is very convenient. Will definitely try to stay here next time we are at Ft. Lauderdale.

Rude, I had a late flight would not pick us up at the airport $30.00 cab fair.
Let people know they have certain times that they will pick you up at the airprt!!!!!

The place was very clean and the room-maid made your bed every morning but everything else was below standards
The customer service was below standards like (-100%) this was definitely a truck stop.

If your traveling and you just want to keep your suitcase in a safe place during the day and a bed to sleep at night choose this place.

It was close to the airport.
The pictures do not depict the actual look of the hotel. I could not change my room from smoking to non smoking. It was not in walking distance to the strip mall down the road. I could not connect to wi-fi. The key card was too complicated to use.

You get what you pay for. I would compare this hotel to the local YWCA. This hotel offers the bare minimum amenities: a hot shower, an on site diner and a place to lay your head until you have to be at the airport. They offer a shuttle to and from the airport, but if you need to be at the airport by 6am, you are out of luck. I liked the price, and the proximity to the Ft. Lauderdale Airport; as well as the fact they have an airport shuttle.
I had to wait at the airport for nearly an hour before finally connecting with the hotel airport shuttle. It took at least three phone calls and a request to be connected directly to the driver.

This hotel is popular with the long-haul truckers; the outward apperance will likely scare away any visitors. As the hotel is not in the best neighborhood. On the whole, for the price it was a nice room (clean, updated, and comfortable bed). It is perfect for a hotel right near the airport.
