Hotel Guest Reviews of the Red Feather Hotel
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 17, 2013

When I checked out, I was asked to pay 2 movies. We were in a hurry to leave and have no time to argue. The staff said there was a screen on the TV to confirm that you would like to pay. My dad does not read English. Damn, I was in the room, but I also did not see it. It could be that I did not pay attention to the TV, but they must have made the screen so easy to jump into the movie for pay. The thing making me even more annoyed is that I did notice my dad was watching a 007 movie, but I did not see the other one at all. I am afraid he just randomly clicked something on the remote control, and it came to our bill.
Honestly, the room was quite nice according to the price. It is in Tusayan, which is only 5 miles from the park entrance. I was expecting we can only have a motel standard room, but we got something better. The good feeling was all flushed away by those two movies. I would rather they raise the price, but not playing this kind of trick. ...

Great for the location and pricey for the overall services. It might has to do with the location again. clean, neat, good service.

This is a basic hotel, but for what we needed - which was one night near the Grand Canyon -- it did the trick. One highlight was the Mexican restaurant on the property, which was very good. It offers a 10 percent discount to people staying at the hotel. The hotel is also walking distance from the Imax theater.

Pros:1. Location - close to the south rim compared to hotels in Williams, AZ.2. All restaurants and convenience stores in Tusayan are within one block from this hotel.Cons:1. No continental breakfast included.2. Room air conditioner was a wall unit and made the room feel stuffy if heat was turned on. It seemed that it was not circulating the air.

This is a great value for travelers to the Grand Canyon. The canyon lodges are 3 or 4 times as much. The room was clean, about 1 mile from the Grand Canyon - overall, a great value.
