paid extra for a "river view" looked out to a tree. They did move me, but would have been nice if they were aware of rooms that are not river view, i had to lug all my luggage down to get another key and then back up. housekeeping staff was extremely nice

Location was great, right on the river. Staff was extremely professional and helpful except when it came to trying to upgrade the room. Found it hard to believe they were full on a Monday/Tuesday night.
Booked the room thru priceline's express deal and even though it was a great rate, we were stuck in a room in the bottom floor with no view. Tried to see if I could pay extra for somewhat of a view room, the desk person said they were full. No luck.
Great location, easy on/off freeway. Had lunch in the restaurant onsite and it was very good.

we were assigned the room that we wanted, which was on the water. The restaurant was fine, staff excellent,
Hotel well situated close to I5, but rooms quiet from highway noise. aircraft noise starting at 6 am might bother some people, but not us. we will stay there again.

The room was great and had a nice patio. The bar and grill had a beautiful view of the river and the ambiance was wonderful.

The room had lots of space,comfy beds, spacious bathroom and refrigerator that you could actually use. The jacuzzi was available even though it is spring and large enough for 20 although we only saw one other person in it the whole time we were there.
I stayed here several years ago and noticed that it needed a bit of tlc. Nothing had changed in those years and the lack of upkeep made me apprehensive when I first pulled up but once I saw the nice redone room I was no longer worried.
The spacious rooms, live music in the bar, beautiful scenery, small but handy library gave me and my 8 year old grandson a great place to play and relax after working a 112hr week. Wish I would have been able to stay longer. The location was great for me because I needed to be in Portland and Vancouver and it is right on the border. Lots of shopping and restaurants near by. Couldn't have asked for much more. Wish I would have had a view room closer to the elevator but didn't know to ask for it. ...
