Hotel Guest Reviews of the Red Lion Portland Convention Center
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 16, 2013

This hotel needs help. I will never stay there again. Besides the moldy odor the air conditioners sounded like a jet plane.

This place looks old and needs refurbishment. If the rack rate is xxx, that is overpriced for what the hotel actually was. It was shown to be a 3 star hotel, but I would say it barely qualifies as maybe a 2 star.

Across the street from Burgerville. 'Nuff said, right? But also close to many other attractions. Every employee we interacted with was extremely friendly and competent.

Scored this hotel at a great price on priceline. Business oriented hotel RIGHT on the light rail(which will save you HUNDREDS; forget cabs!) just on the other side of the river from downtown Portland. Super helpful staff, great service, great location. Air conditioning or climate control of the rooms not available...you use a damned FAN? LOL. Not exactly a three star...

The location near Lloyd Center and the Rose Garden is great. The MAX line run right next to the property so getting from the east to west side is very easy.

Not the worst hotel in the world. It was clean, close to restaurants and Lloyd Center and right at the MAX and just a short walk to the arena. For a last minute quick trip it's an okay place to stay. Don't stay here if you are truly vacationing. There aren't enough amenities to make it worth a real vacation. Also, the is odd heating, when it's over 55 degrees outside the air conditioning is turned on. There's no real control of the temperature in your room. I was fine because it was a beautiful spring weekend. I might stay here again for a quick shopping trip. ...
