Hotel Guest Reviews of the Red Roof Inn Ann Arbor University South

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

the availibility and the option to cancel until the day before for graduation week end .
the bathrooms are very basic and the light is horrible.

The hotel is okay for a Red Roof Inn. It was clean and relatively quiet. The cancellation policy was great but the price still ridiculously high for this category of hotel even for graduation week end.

INEXPENSIVE AND SAFE.
THE MOTEL IS NEXT TO THE INTERSTATE. THERE APPARENTLY WAS A POTHOLE IN THE ROAD AND EVERY TIME A SEMI HIT THE HOLE IT SOUNDED LIKE A CAR DOOR SLAMMING. NOT THEIR FAULT BUT SOMETHING TO CONSIDER.

WE USE THIS LOCATION WHEN VISITING OUR DAUGHTER AT UMICH. NOT OVER-PRICED LIKE OTHERS IN THE AREA AND CONVENIENT TO EVERYTHING.

Clean, neat room. Friendly staff.
Shower faucet difficult to adjust. Sliding bathroom door should have a handle for easy sliding.

Very good value for money.

The room smelled like it used to be for smoking guests. Not well lit. Had a "dirty" feel.

The room smelled like it used to be for smoking guests. Not well lit. Had a "dirty" feel. I left the hotel and booked another one about a block away. i didn't want to stay the night in the room. Do not recommend this hotel; there are several others in the immediate area that are not as poor.

The rooms have refridgerators, which is great, especially if you have temperature-sensitive medication, or a caffeinated soda habit.
Apparently, this hotel is a huge stay for loud college students. Wish I had known that. They have a habit of hanging outside of other guest's rooms, smoking and drinking and partying loudly and the staff doesn't think this is a problem.

LOUD. COLLEGE. STUDENTS. I cannot say enough about this. Obnoxious!!!

staff was helpful. When the wireless didn't work, they offered to let me change hotel and priceline would refund my money.
wireless didn't work. room was half painted, and looked ugly

hotel needs renovation -- two walls were half painted. Room was clean and staff was helpful.

Great location
The size of the room. It was very small. Especially the bathroom.

The bathroom is small but it does come with a microwave and mini fridge

I can't think of a thing, I liked about this hotel.
Too noisy, the bathroom wasn't clean and
the breakfast was pathetic.
