Hotel Guest Reviews of the Red Roof Inn Montgomery

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Shower had leaky tub faucet and some mold around the shower enclosure.

Room did not look like it was cleaned very well. Locks did not look very secure. The hotels web page showed an elaborate breakfast area which showed a couple of waffle makers which there weren't any. In reality it was very plain and limited.

Nothing
Filthy, nasty, and staff didn't know what they were doing.

Hotel room was dirty, tub had ring around it and molded shower curtain. 1 towel in room, no hand soap at all. no breakfast items at all. When I ask about the dirty tub was told he was alone and couldn't clean it. Sent me some Ajax and a towel up on the elevator. He called and said if I open the elevator door it would be there, and guess what, it was...I can not believe the service they provided. I had to get on my hands and knees and clean a dirty tub. In the morning there were no breakfast items available. The area was empty.

One person working the front desk, difficult to get back into lobby, door locks have to ring a bell.

The hotel manager was a little creepy and the place was difficult to maneuver around in, seemed like all the doors locked behind you as you left a section of the hotel, one wash rag and towel, guess because it was a King Business room. Requested iron from front desk, it did not work. No vacancy sign handwritten on door of hotel, but there seemed to be hardly anyone in the hotel. Strange. ...read more

It was very convenient to 85, which is where I need to go.
The bathroom wasn't very clean, and bed was kind of uncomfortable.

Only stayed a night so I didn't get to see much of the hotel. The bath tub didn't look very clean, the TV had a line running through it, and the bed was kind of stiff and uncomfortable. There breakfast could use some attention, given the fact they really didn't have much, but cereal and a couple of muffins. When I arrived at the hotel it was night so I didn't get to see the grounds, but before I left I looked at the pool area. It was nice and clean. For the price I payed it was an OK hotel, very convenient to 85, which was were I was going. The Hotel staff were very courteous. As I said for the price I payed I can't beat it. ...read more

The pool was the best thing of the hotel and the front staff was good.
The cleaning staff was unfriendly and hung around smoking.

I liked that the rooms were comfortable.
The shower curtain in the bathroom had mold and mildew on it.

We had to travel to Montgomery for a football game in the City. We booked a room as close to the field as possible. We thought that the hotel was in a very good location, and we was pleasantly surprised that it was in good shape. A lot of time hotels put up pictures that are somewhat deceiving to what the hotel really looks like. Overall, we enjoyed the room and our time in Montgomery and will be using the hotel and Priceline again in the future. ...read more

I liked the fact that the elevators and doors require card key access for additional safety.
The hotel could use an update, but you can't beat the price.

The rooms are clean but a little small and the hotel is older. For the price, this was sufficient for us, because we did not spend much of our time in the room.
