Hotel Guest Reviews of the Renaissance Meadowlands Hotel
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.April 17, 2013

Excellent hotel and close to New York. The staff services were outstanding.

Staff was very helpful and cheerful. Rooms were clean. The hotel was better in person then in the photos on the website. I would stay again for any events in the Meadowlands area. Although we didn't go to nyc this trip, I would consider this hotel for a budget trip as there is a bus right across the street to nyc and we saw many people waiting there. It seemed convenient enough. ...

The hotel was right next to a major highway, so traffic noise was somewhat of an issue. The hotel also did not have all the amenities, that i had expected, based on star rating, and price. A large biker group was there, and although they were quiet inside, a large group was smoking and drinking right outside the main entrance when I arrived. The smell of smoke permeated the lobby area, and it was awkward to enter through such a large, boisterous group. Hotel staff enabled the gathering, and made no apparent attempts to have them relocate their "party". Vending, ice machines, and the pool were all out of order. On the plus... Some rooms had a beautiful view of the city skyline and the location was quite convenient; with many local attractions easily accessible within a 10-15 minute drive. No noise issues at night, so I was able to sleep well. ...

Clearly head and shoulders above the other Meadowlands area hotels, despite formidable competition. The Renaissance is elegant, classy, and conveniently located at the intersection of routes 3 and 17, making is a time saver to the Lincoln tunnel. Priceline makes it a money-saver. Truly, my favorite hotel in the region.

The hotel staff was pleasant and accommodating. The room was clean and smelled clean. The bathroom was spotless and the towels and linen smelled fresh. There was a spacious balcony which was nice to watch the night sky. It's pretty close to shopping areas. The only downside was periodic traffic noise from trucks.
