Hotel Guest Reviews of the Renaissance New Orleans Arts Hotel

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

This has always been my favorite place to stay and I always try to go there first as we travel to New Orleans and stay here. It is not always available but it is within walking distance of everything we like. Thanks again, Debbie Fournet

Good location, walking distance great, Quiet and very artsy

Great location - room was in excellent shape.
Staff at the front desk were amazingly weak at service. I flew in late the night before - didn't get to the front desk until 10am to drop of laundry. I had missed the 9am cutoff. I asked if they knew of anyone that could help. Nope. No attempt to help.

It was renovated and clean. Bathrooms had great counter space.
Biggest complaint was there was no coffee shop for the basic refreshments or quick bite on the run. The only option was an overpriced hotel restaurant charging $20 for 2 eggs.

The hotel was nice and modern. The room was spacious and clean. Parking was a few dollars less than other hotels in the area. The parking fees really add up and can ruin a trip when you get the bill. Nice hotel. Would like to stay there more through Priceline.

Staff were wonderful, helpful, engaging.Location was off of busy main areas but close to all.
No, I liked everything.

Spacious room, excellent service, front staff were friendly and very, very helpful. Location is really good. We appreciated that there were child friendly attractions nearby (Children's Museum around the corner, IMAX and riverwalk a few blocks away) but the ambiance in genl was sophisticated and relaxing.

Why no free wi-fi? The Canal Street Marriott and the Residence Inn both part of the Marriott chain, have free wi-fi.

location was excellent
no free wifi, no coffee in lobby, parking is expensive

The location is great but the amenities could greatly improve. Free wifi is almost a standard in todays age and we went downstairs for more coffee after we used what was in our rooms and was told we could purchase some from the resturant for $3.00 or so per cup. Canned soft drinks from the gift shop are $3.50, really? I feel this hotel takes advantage of the guests by charging high prices for everyday things. ...read more

All of the above
No microwave

It was an awesome experience. Me and my team will definitely be referring priceline to our other business partners as we do travel at least 3-4x's per year if not more, and the less we can spend with great quality the better.
