Hotel Guest Reviews of the Renaissance New Orleans Pere Marquette Hotel

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

This hotel had a really cool vibe. The decor was retro/modern and the downstairs lounge/bar area looked really cool. Great location in CBD New Orleans.
I did not like that there was no free internet! You have to go down to the lobby if you want free Wi-Fi. Also, our room was not cleaned until late in the afternoon.

Not a great place to stay with children. Our room did not have a tub and was not family friendly. We did get a pack-n-play in our room for no additional charge.

They make every effort to be an excellent hotel.
It's time to provide free wi-fi in rooms.

Easy access to trolley, walking distance to downtown sites & the French quarter.

Renaissance Pere Marguette has really nice size rooms, big windows, and ample bathroom space. The staff was accommodating and did a very good job maintaining the room during our stay. The hotel was also conveniently located.
Parking was expensive at $38 per night, but valet was helpful and prompt in bringing the car when requested.

The hotel was also conveniently located. The only real drawback was the expensive valet (however it is typical of NOLA French Quarter.

This hotel was a great surprise. It was clean and comfortable and in a fairly good spot.

We live near New Orleans and often stay overnight. We've stayed in many hotels in the city and have been disappointed numerous times. In recent years we've adopted a policy of only staying at the Ritz because we've been disappointed so many times in even four star hotels. New Orleans hotels can be run down, crowded and generally in bad repair and still maintain their high star level. We'd never used Priceline before but when we wanted to stay last week the Ritz was sold out. We decided to take a chance and book this property. We were so glad we did. The hotel was in great shape. The bathroom was very clean, spacious and well light. The bedroom had new carpet, comfortable beds and a good layout. The hotel staff was great and valet parking was easy. We will definitely do this again! ...read more

When we walked into the floor-level of the hotel, everything was nicely decorated, and we were impressed. The staff was nice.
We walked into our room, looked around and decided to cancel our stay. This hotel has been rated 4 stars. It was not 4-star quality, in our opinion. The room was very small. The wallpaper was peeling off the walls. Bathroom floor was dirty.

We were very disappointed with our experience. First of all, the only parking available for the hotel was valet parking that cost $38 a day. It would've been nice to know that. Also, wi-fi was not included. It was an extra $12.50 a day. The room was very small and cramped. There was wallpaper peeling off the walls. The bathroom floor was dirty. The roadwork outside our window was very noisy. We spent about 5 minutes in our room before deciding to cancel our stay and drive back home. It was not a good experience. ...read more

Great location
Valet parking was alittle expensive and free wifi wasn't available, you have to pay for it.

Very nice and modern when you first walk into the hotel. Our rooms were clean and staff was excellent. However, had a mishap from Valet with my vehicle that need to be taken care of.

The location.

Small public space. Small room. There is no complimentary wireless connection in room. Poor elevators condition, it was only one which was running caused long wait to catch the elevator.
