Hotel Guest Reviews of the Renaissance New Orleans Pere Marquette Hotel

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The hotel was in great location, right in the heart, but still a safe distance. Valet parking outrageous: 38 dollars/day! Typical, but van was safe in private building parking. We have a family of 5; they let us make a pallet on floor for 5th, no xtra
cost of valet parking. unhelpful staff, which is just typical of new orleans and the people there. pool was dirty, but we were not there to swim, so this didnt bother us.

can walk to canal street and trolly down to the river, or enjoy the stroll. hotel was clean and safe, across the stret from the City Diner. We were worried that they wouldnt accomodate our 5 person fam in a two double room. we had to ask for the extras, but they did give us bedding for the flor. Room was clean, a little tight, and bathrom was large and clean. no funny smells anywhere. rooftop pool was neat though tiny and needing to be cleaned. No free internet was annouing, but for the price we paid, we would stay again. we were really pleased overall! ...read more

The beds were so comfortable.
The parking charge was a little high.

Very friendly staff, great location, valet parkers saved me a ton telling me about a nearby garage that charged less than half.
Parking was expensive, but that's the same all over New Orleans

Great location a block to French Quarter and nice solid clean rooms and great beds.
Parking was 40 bux and wifi 12 bux - which are annoying hidden costs (but par for the course for upscale hotels in downtown areas).

Great hotel - 1 block from French Quarter and great clean rooms and nice gym. Only downside is 40$ for parking and 12 for wifi.

Our room was not cleaned by 2pm. We had to call security after midnight because the couple next door was throwing objects and fighting.

The hotel did not meet my expectations of a 4 star hotel. The breakfast buffet in the restaurant has very few selections and is not worth the price. The double beds are very small. The location is great
